Welcome to IAHome App, a property and smart home management application provided by Ingenious Assets Sdn. Bhd. (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our**”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the IAHome App, including all features, services, and content available via mobile or web.

By accessing or using IAHome App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree, do not use our App.


1. Eligibility

IAHome App is intended for:

  • Tenants residing in properties managed by our company.
  • Authorised admins or personnel managing these properties.

You must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction to use the app.


2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for any activity under your account.

  • Tenants will be registered by an admin.
  • You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts if fraudulent or unauthorized behavior is detected.


3. Usage Guidelines

You agree not to:

  • Use the app for unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent purposes.
  • Tamper with or gain unauthorized access to smart home devices.
  • Violate the privacy or safety of others in your building or property.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or disrupt the IAHome system.

4. Payments and Top-Ups

The app provides the ability for tenants to:

  • Pay rent or utilities.
  • Top-up electricity balance.

All payments must be made through approved methods. The Company does not store or process payment data directly and is not responsible for any banking or transaction issues beyond our control.


5. Smart Device Access

Access to smart home devices (e.g., digital door locks, autogate, electricity) is granted by the admin.

We reserve the right to limit or suspend device access:

  • In case of unpaid rent.
  • For maintenance or safety reasons.
  • Due to misuse or tampering.

6. Feedback and Complaints

Tenants may use the in-app feedback feature to submit comments, complaints, or service requests. We will attempt to address them in a timely manner but are not obligated to respond to every submission.


7. Privacy

Your data is handled according to our Privacy Policy. We respect your privacy and collect only the necessary information to operate the app.


8. Intellectual Property

All content, software, and materials in IAHome App are owned by or licensed to Ingenious Assets Sdn. Bhd. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the app without prior written consent.


9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to IAHome App at any time for:

  • Violating these Terms
  • Misuse of the app or devices
  • Non-payment or breach of the rental agreement

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The IAHome App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted access
  • Accuracy of data from smart devices
  • All issues will be resolved immediately

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ingenious Assets Sdn. Bhd. shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of property or data
  • Service interruptions
  • Issues caused by third-party integrations or hardware

12. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll notify users through the app or via email if significant changes are made. Continued use after changes means you agree to the revised Terms.
